Seats from Doc's Upholstery:
Hi Bob,
I just got my seats and headrest back from Doc of Doc's Upholstery in Belvidere IL and I can say without aprehension it very well may be the best upholstery job I have ever seen on a vintage muscle car. Doc's attention to detail is bordering on a obsession. The headrest he reupholstered for me probably never looked that good from the factory. The color is a dead on match to the originals I sent. The piping is perfect and perfectly straight and all the correct sizing. the seats are tight and straight. I can't thank Doc enough for being an actual craftsman who takes pride in what they do.
The good news for the Scrambler community is that Doc actually owns a B scheme car with the original upholstery so he knows exactly what it should look like. Better news yet is Doc has the makings right now for I believe 5 more batches of seats and head rests for the Scramblers. I implore anyone who is on contemplating getting their seats reupholstered to contact Doc right away before he runs out of the material 815-547-5408. You will not regret this decision.

are the heads dog leg design, or square.......
The 68 69 heads are rectangler .70 they went to the better flowing dog leg heads ...
Thanks for the question ...
Bob
A lot of guys change to the dog legs and you need to put a spacer in the head to accept the blot size in the block ...1/2 to 7/16 I believe , a simple thing to do
I have an NOS Hurst Scrambler air cleaner to hood seal. If any one is interested please call 937 985-6469 Not going to be cheap!
I am restoring a 69 sc/rambler and need quarter panels. Where might I find either reproduction or original panels?
There are no Quarter panels in any catalog that I know of .
What can be done is repair an original , or get a replacement off a 1966 through 69 Rogue for direct fit or a sedan post car that will need some modification near the roof line ...
If any one has more too add or has parts , please add your imformation ...
Bob
How do we purchase stuff form Gordy? email address/website?

Does the SC/Rambler use the same transmission crossmember as the AMX or Javelin?
Gary , I sent a request to get you an answer .I have a post in the blog on the changes Hurst did to a V8 crossmember . I'm not positive about AMX etc being the same or not . Should hear some thing back soon.
Bob
Gary,
The Amx / Jav cross member will not fit . You need an American V8 part.
One of the guys has one , and I can provide his contact info if needed
Bob
